GreenTrace is operated by TerraPulse Media Organisation Ltd. This notice explains the information the website, web platform and field app may handle. Your organisation may give you additional instructions about its use of GreenTrace.

Information used by the service

Depending on your role and the records you enter, GreenTrace may process account details, farmer and farm information, locations, entries, photographs or documents, review decisions and activity records. The public landing page does not ask you to submit personal information.

Why information is used

These records support field collection, farm and supply chain traceability, review, reporting, account access and service security. Organisations using the platform determine which authorised team members can access their records. To improve the service, the signed-in web platform tells PostHog, our product analytics service, which pages are opened, with the account ID and role, and anyone who turns on push notifications has them delivered by OneSignal, tied to their account ID; the cookies notice has the details.

Storage on your device

The web platform may save draft entries and preferences in your browser. The field app may hold records while they wait to sync. Use a trusted device, especially when working with personal or farm data.

Sharing and retention

Authorised members of your organisation may see records needed for their work. Retention periods and any external sharing arrangements must be confirmed with your organisation before this draft becomes a final policy.

Your choices and requests

Contact your GreenTrace organisation administrator if you need access to, correction of or deletion of a record. An official privacy contact channel will be added before public launch.
