Cookies and local storage

The public GreenTrace landing page currently does not load advertising or analytics scripts. It does not ask you to accept optional tracking cookies.

Platform storage

When you use the signed-in web platform, your browser may remember display preferences and locally saved drafts. The app also holds an access token in memory during a signed-in session. Clearing site data may remove drafts that have not been submitted.

Product analytics

While you are signed in, the web platform tells PostHog, our product analytics service, which pages you open, with your account ID, your role and the browser and device details any website receives, so we can see which parts of GreenTrace are used. It does not send names, form answers or farm details, and it removes the query text from web addresses. It stores no analytics cookie, so nothing is kept in your browser once you close the tab. Nothing is sent before you sign in.

Push notifications

If you turn on push notifications in your notification settings, OneSignal, our push notification service, keeps a subscription for this browser tied to your account ID, so alerts can reach you when GreenTrace is closed. Nothing is set up unless you turn it on and your browser allows it. Turn it off there, or block notifications for this site in your browser, to stop it.

Managing your browser data

You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Doing so may sign you out or remove local preferences and drafts. Your organisation administrator can help if you are unsure whether a draft has been synced.

If other analytics or marketing tools are introduced later, this notice and the site's choices will be updated before they are enabled.
